Hvilken adfærd og temperament har Hvid Schweiziske Hyrdehund? Det er fint beskrevet i standarden FCI 347.
Man kan spørge: Hvad gør opdrætteren for at leve op til standarden?
Udover bl.a. udstillingsresultater, røntgenbilleder og test fra Laboklin har opdrætteren faktisk et vigtigt værktøj til at hjælpe med udvælgelsen af deres hunde til avl.
Den hedder Mental Beskrivelse og er udviklet af Dansk Kennel Klub.
Kort fortalt, beskriver den hvordan hunden reagerer og lige så vigtigt afreagerer udsat for forskellige momenter. Testen har fået en storebror: Udvidet Mental Beskrivelse (UMB).
Vi, et par opdrættere har netop taget skridtet videre og testet vores avlshanner med den Udvidede Mental Beskrivelse. Denne test er mere stressende og har flere momenter over en længere tid end lillebror.
Kennel Trebons og Kennel Augusteas har sammen med et par hvalpeejere lavet en video, der viser i højdepunkter, hvordan deres avlshanner håndterer de forskellige momenter.

What kind of behavior and temperament does the White Swiss Shepherd have?
It is described nicely in the standard FCI 347.
One can ask; What does the breeder do, to breed up to the standard?
Besides f.ex. Show results, x-rays and test from Laboklin the breeder actually has a important tool to help with the selection of their dogs for breeding.
It is called Mental Description and was developed by the Danish Kennel Club.
Briefly, it describes how the dog's reacts and equally unreacts exposed to various moments.
Some breeders have gone a step further and have just tested their breeding dogs with the new Extended Mental Description. This test is more stressful and have more moments over a longer period of time.

January 21st. 2021 this little guy came into the world, our little singleton Augusteas Duke. He is very valuable and waited on with excitement. The beginning was a bit tough for him and Zoe, now they both thrive in style. Many thanks to Giovanna for letting us borrow Absolute White Chocolate Iari, the first puppy after him in Denmark, we are so excited to see how Duke develops
21. Januar 2021 kom denne lille fyr til verden, vores lille singleton Augusteas Duke. Han er meget værdifuld og ventet på med spænding. Begyndelsen var lidt hård for ham og Zoe, nu trives de begge i stor stil. Stor tak til Giovanna for vi har fået lov til at låne Absolute White Chocolate Iari, første hvalp efter ham i Danmark, vi er så spændt på at se hvordan hvordan Duke udvikler sig

Happy news. Kennel Augusteas goes green. Meet our new member of the herd, green boy his name is Bono.
We have high hopes for him.

Glædelig nyhed. Augusteas Bono (green boy) er det nye medlem i hundeflokken.
Han tegner godt, fremtiden vil vise hvordan han udvikler sig.

Jolee and Zoe OTBB has this day passed the traffic test. We are super proud of the both and also a bit proud of myself.

K'Zoe Of Trebons Berger Blanc er d.d. godkendt som besøgshund i TrygFonden, og er nu aktiv idenfor plejecentre.

And is active within nursing centers.

Halo has passed the traffic test.
Jesper Sorensen, Carro - cattledog, with all three dogs Halo, Jolee and K´zoe. It has been quite interesting to watch the dogs in the meeting with the sheep and to get one´s own experience of how hard it is to herd sheep. It is for sure not the last time we´ll go.
Jolee Of Trebons Berger Blanc has passed Obedience test beginner B at the German Shepherd club on July 13´th 2016. we are proud of our girl.
Herding test at Line Sara Kronstam´s place good and Rewarding workout and interesting to observe shepherd dog meeting with the sheep for the very first time.
