October 13th 2024.  Temprament of the WSS, standard FCI 347

"Friendly and discrete, high social competence and devoted to his owner, never afraid or aggressive without provocation". How do we as a breeder reach this extreamly high goal? 

For us as a kennel of breeding family/company dogs (read following the Standard), there has been only one way; temprament testing of our breeding stock and our puppies.  

Our kennel club DKK, offers a high quality temprament test (45 min) and done by a team of 5 educated canine behaviourists, for all dogs. This basic test has a big brother: The Advanced Temprament Test,

that has 12 excercises and last for 70 min pr dog, this test is putting the dogs temprament to it's limit, so therefore the minimum age for the dog is 2 years old. This test is passed by around 40 dogs every year.

Oktober 13th. 2024 kennel Augusteas participated together with our kennel friends and their stud dogs (6 all together) in the Advanced Temperament Test.

All passed with flying colours and the general critic of the participating dogs were "All WSS were very sociable, well balanced contact, friendly, eager to please, excellent at de stressing and no sign of unprovoked aggression". We could not ask for better evaluation.
